Summary
Our Finance team is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Director of Finance to help us move into the next stage of our company’s development. We are looking for someone to partner with our Assistant Controller as they handle the daily accounting needs of the organization. Your primary responsibilities will be on the FP&A side of the Finance team, including collaborating with the leadership team on advancing the strategic needs of the organization.
Responsibilities
As the Director of Finance, you will:
- Lead the company’s financial planning and accounting functions
- Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports
- Guide functional leaders to identify and manage KPIs that drive business direction
- Collaborate with other G&A functions to optimize data integrity and workflows
- Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations
- Build and manage vendor relationships
- Set up and oversee the company’s financial tech stack
- Advise on investment strategies by considering cash, liabilities, and liquidity risks
- Evaluate the company’s fundraising plans and capital structure
Qualifications
You’ll thrive as the Director of Finance if you have:
- 6+ years of corporate finance experience with at least one cycle at an early stage, high-growth SaaS company
- Demonstrated experience with: financial modeling, monthly financial reporting, board reporting, and capital raising (preferably debt and equity)
- Expertise in data analysis and forecasting methods that strategically support the goals of the business
- The ability to provide strategic financial thought leadership to solve complex business challenges
- An analytical mind, with openness and curiosity to be a thought partner to peers leading various functions
Logistics
- Location: Health Note is a fully distributed company. This employee must be located within the United States and a successful candidate will have US work authorization without requiring visa sponsorship.
- Salary Range: Base salary $135,000-$170,000
- The salary listed here is a general range. The specifics of an offer will depend on candidate location and experience.
