About the Team:

The engineering team is located in Denver and remotely throughout the U.S. This highly-autonomous team of senior engineers works cross-functionally with our product management and design teams and is responsible for building and iterating on Nomad’s core platform.

About the Role:

Sr. Manager of Software Engineering is responsible for:

  • Informing and collaborating on the product roadmap working with many stakeholders across the company ensuring the top business objectives are consistently met
  • Mentoring, guiding, and hands-on assistance for engineering team members
  • Identifying and working through technology risks for the company
  • Keeping up to date with technology innovations and trends, applying them to Nomad for maximum benefit
  • Understanding all aspects of the business through collaboration with other departments and leadership

Who you are:

You are a seasoned engineering manager and leader with 3+ years experience managing a high-performing software engineering team at an early stage startup. You care about getting the job done as efficiently as possible without over-indexing on trying to predict the future. Understanding Nomad’s customer is very important to you and your team, informing not only what you work on but why. You are used to or want to work in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities and objectives need to be flexible. Quality does not take a back seat to speed for you and the delivery of consistent, dependable software is one of your core tenants. You care about mentoring more junior employees and tailor your management style to the employee without being overbearing.

Position is available in Denver, CO where the team is in the office 3+ days/week or Remote (US).

Experience in residential real estate and B2C/B2B SaaS are all valuable but not required.

As an early stage startup, we are only able to employee candidates able to work in the US and that will not need any visa sponsorship.

Potential pay range: $150,000-$200,000.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above. In addition to competitive base salary, Full-Time, non-contract roles are also eligible for equity.
